• We’re adults-only, so we can’t accommodate children

Yes — your sleeping space is enclosed, with real walls (not curtains!) around and a door with a lock that can only be opened with your own key. It typically feels far more private than a dorm bed.

It is! Social life happens mainly in common areas, where you can find self-service bars, TV, shared kitchen, shared fridge, couches and tables.

We provide complimentary towels, hairdryers and RITUALS® toiletries (The Ritual of Mehr series, Shampoo, Shower Gel, Handwash and Hand&Body cream).
For sustainability reasons, we would suggest you to prepare flip-flops, and your own dental product, and other essentials you need. But don’t worry if you travel light, we sell toothbrushes, toothpaste, flip flops (not single-use products!) and other essentials you might need in a vending machine.

At The Hyve Capsule Hostel Amsterdam, we know the shared bathrooms matter just as much as the capsules. We have 4 shower rooms, each with 2–4 shower cubicles. At most times, guests don’t usually need to wait — though during peak hours on weekends, there may occasionally be a short wait.
